R1150GS/ADV, R1100GS
The BMW R1150GS (1999–2003) and R1150GS Adventure (2001–2005), with 62 kW output, became known as indestructible "old iron" — the bikes Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman rode around the world.
They are the direct successors to the equally durable R1100GS (1993–1999), which Igor Brezovar also rode around the globe.
