Real experiences with Plexi WRS 50cm, clear.
The customer ordered a 50cm high WRS plexi with a brace for modifying their BMW R1200GS 2006, which had a standard small original plexi installed. At a height of 189 cm, they were dissatisfied with the airflow hitting the lower part of the helmet and the neck. Above 80km/h it was very uncomfortable.
After installing the 50cm high WRS plexi with a brace, the airflow moved significantly higher, by about 20cm. Subjectively, it is above the helmet. With a full-face helmet, one can ride with the visor open even at speeds over 130km/h, without it blowing in the eyes or closing the visor. While sitting in a normal position, there is no issue seeing above the plexi (not through it). When looking through the plexi, the glass does not distort, except for the side bends.
The pressure on the arms and shoulders has decreased, which could be further reduced with side deflectors.
