Note, some versions of the R1250GS Adventure with a one-piece rally seat have a shortened original rack; in that case, you need this plate.
You can use the plate as a base for securing luggage just with straps, expand it with an extension module, attach a SW-Motech PRO series tank bag support to it, or, when using suitable adapters for boxes, use it as a plate for a SW-Motech, Givi, Kappa top case.. see the list below.
